Student Leaders Appointed

Students in all year groups have been appointed as Student Leaders to help them to develop their leadership skills and promote the school community in a variety of ways.

To be considered for the roles students went through a robust recruitment process with letters of application and interviews.

Jo-Anne Hoarty, Headteacher, said: “I have been delighted by the enthusiasm with which students in each year group have applied for the positions of student leaders. It shows that our students have a deep sense of pride in their school and I look forward to seeing what the successful candidates contribute to our community.”

Student Leaders will perform a variety of roles including representing their year group at events such as Parent Information Evenings, Open Evenings and Governors’ meetings. They will also lead by example in the way in which they conduct themselves in school.
