Students Celebrate Outstanding A level and Vocational Exam Results

Students celebrate their A level results

St Paul’s Catholic School is delighted to report some outstanding achievements by its students in their A levels and vocational qualifications this summer. Students are going on to study a range of subjects leading to careers in areas including Architectural Engineering, Property Management and Real Estate, Computer Science, Biomechanical Science, Psychology, Diagnostic Radiography, Business Information Systems, Cyber Security, Midwifery, Automotive Engineering, Children’s Nursing and Civil Engineering.

Jo-Anne Hoarty, Headteacher at St Paul’s, said: “Students have experienced an unprecedented and unique situation. It is important to remember that these results represent seven years hard work. Our students have worked incredibly hard to secure excellent grades that will enable them to move to their next steps.”

Kiera Milne who is going to Bath Spa University to study Environment, Politics and Sociology having gained As in History and Psychology, A* in her EPQ and B in Religious Education.

Martha Hughes, who received A*s in Maths and her EPQ, As in French and German and is going to study Languages at University of Warwick.

Robert McBride, who achieved D*D* in Sport Science, and As in German and Geography and will be studying Sport & Exercise Science at Northumbria University.

Jonathan Pantani, who gained A* in Italian, A in History and Bs in Politics and English Language/Literature and is going to King’s College London to study Politics, Philosophy and Law.

Danilo Pozzuto, who has gained A* in Maths and Biology and As in Design & Technology Product Design and Economics. Danilo is going to study Business Management at University of Warwick.

Paolo Resma, who gained As in Design & Technology, Maths, Physics, and B in Music and will be going to University of Warwick to study Design Engineering.

Martynas Mokola, who is going to Durham University to study Civil Engineering having achieved A*s in Maths and his EPQ and As in Chemistry and Physics.

Stephen Mensah who gained A* in Maths, and As in Further Maths and Physics and is going to Imperial College, London to study Physics. Stephen achieved A* in Italian in 2021.

Robert Goddard, who has gained As in Biology, Chemistry and Psychology and is taking a gap year to consider his future options.

Jo-Anne Hoarty said: “We are immensely proud of all the work and achievements of our students, especially after such a difficult and disrupted few years. Our teachers have worked tirelessly to ensure students are all able to progress onto further education and study, and we look forward to seeing what they will achieve in the future. Congratulations to all our Post 16 students this year.”
