Students Link Art And Science With The OU

Sam from the OU with Art students

The Open University (OU) worked with our students to identify birds found the in the wild and look at the impact of decline over decades. Sam Shaw from the OU, worked alongside Mr Sharp and Mrs Reeve to make links between Science and Art. Students were given the opportunity to analyse work and discuss their findings as well as make pieces to show how they would want our environment to look in the future. Students did this by putting nature at the forefront of planning so that humans and animals can co-exist and worked collaboratively to finalise their ideas.

There was also some lovely work happening to create batik designs inspired by the shapes of nature.
