UCAS and Apprenticeship

University Pathway

The vast majority of students at St Paul's want to continue their education at University and we have well-established programmes to help all students to secure places on the best courses at the best universities.

You will be supported through the whole process from deciding your course and university, making your application, financing your degree and taking up your place at university after results day.

Student Finance

Applying for student finance can take six weeks and possibly longer if supplementary information is required. Information about student finance and how to apply can be found at www.gov.uk/studentfinance

You can visit the Student Finance website by clicking on the button below

You can also find a useful article from StudentCrowd 'How much does it cost to go to university?' here.

If you are an EU national and have been living in the UK and islands for at least five years before the start of your course you may be able to apply for the same loans for tuition fees and living costs as a UK national. You can find more information here .  If you have lived in the UK for less than five years please contact the Sixth Form team as soon as possible on 01908 669735 or by email here.

Apprenticeship Pathway

A growing number of our students want to take advantage of the increasing opportunities afforded by apprenticeships including those that are a viable and attractive alternative to a university degree. We encourage all our students to research apprenticeship opportunities and potentially make a dual application (apply to university and apprenticeships). For those only considering an apprenticeship route, support will be put in place to guide them through the process.

The Sixth Form team has produced some useful information on apprenticeships. You can find it here.
