Communication Support Worker

Salary: St Paul’s Pay Range 3 (£29,572 to £31,586) (Pro rata Staring Salary £20,381). 30 hours per week, Term time only plus 1 day. Working hours Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 8.40am-3.35pm, Tuesday 8.50am-3.35pm and Friday 8.40am-2.30pm.

We are currently seeking a qualified Communication Support Worker to enhance the learning of pupils with hearing impairment needs in the classroom.  We are looking for a Level 3 qualified BSL communicator to join our diverse team.  You must have a good working knowledge of BSL and be passionate about the education of all young people. Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

33 ½ hours per week, Term time only plus 1 training day. Working hours Monday - Friday between 8.00am-5.00pm. St. Paul’s Pay Range 3 Point 16 (£29,572 - £31,586 FTE). Starting Salary £22,758.                 

Are you passionate about seeing pupils with Autistic Spectrum Conditions succeed in their education and supporting families and young people to transition successfully to adulthood?

This new position will support pupils within our new specialist resource provision.  Supporting pupils with complex SEN needs which are currently unable to access mainstream education and deliver teaching and learning resources under the direction of the class teacher.  We are looking to recruit a committed and enthusiastic individual into the Specialist Learning Support role.   You should be resilient, flexible and enthusiastic, and have a strong understanding of classroom practice and working with variety of pupils with ASC needs.  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

Learning Resource Centre Supervisor

Salary: St Paul’s Pay Range 3 (£29,572 to £31,586) (Pro rata Staring Salary £27,745). 40 hours per week, Term time only plus 1 week. Working hours between 7.30am- 5.30pm Monday- Friday.

We are seeking to appoint a hardworking, enthusiastic and conscientious individual for the position of Learning Resource Centre Supervisor at St Paul’s Catholic School. We are looking for a passionate individual who believes that reading and literacy should be at the heart of a good school.

The successful candidate will support the school library, providing an effective and up to date library service to the school. Provide guidance and assistance to students with regards to resources and choice, supervision of students through the day, including break, lunchtimes and after school.  You must be a confident communicator who can liaise effectively with your team, as well as a wider team of teachers and senior leaders. Communication Support Worker with Medical Experience

Salary: St Paul’s Pay Range 3 (£29,572 to £31,586) (Pro rata Staring Salary £20,381). 30 hours per week, Term time only plus 1 day. Working hours Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 8.40am-3.35pm, Tuesday 8.50am-3.35pm and Friday 8.40am-2.30pm.

We are currently seeking a qualified Communication Support Worker to enhance the learning of deaf/hard of hearing pupils within the classroom and the Hearing Support Department.  We are looking for an individual ideally with BSL qualification or with the willingness to work towards BSL qualifications to join our diverse team.  You must have a good working knowledge of deafness and be passionate about the education of all young people. You will be joining an established team working with up to 9 pupils currently.

We are seeking someone who ideally has paediatric first aid training and previous experience working with people with medical needs. It would also be beneficial if there is previous experience of working with people who have a tracheostomy, including changing tracheostomies. An essential part of the job would require a willingness to undertake training to support individuals with tracheostomy care, under the supervision of our school-based medical team.
